Testing Services

CIMEC conducts material testing both in its laboratories and in the field. Its laboratory management system is NABL-accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and the scope of accreditation can be verified on the NABL website. CIMEC laboratories are well-equipped to test a wide range of items using Indian or International Standards. All testing is carried out by trained and experienced personnel, while results are verified by authorized experts. Their deep knowledge of products and testing methods ensures reliable, accurate, and trustworthy outcomes for every test conducted.

Proficiency Testing

Proficiency Testing (PT) involves inter-laboratory comparisons to assess a laboratory’s performance. It is an essential tool for demonstrating technical competence and ensuring consistent quality. The organization responsible for conducting PT programs is known as the Proficiency Testing Provider (PTP). PTPs design programs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043 and invite Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) or laboratories to participate. Engaging in PT helps laboratories evaluate their capabilities, improve result accuracy, and build confidence in their testing and calibration processes.

Reference Material

Reference Material (RM) is a substance with one or more well-characterized properties, used for calibrating instruments, validating test methods, assigning values, or quality control. Property values and uncertainties are determined through proficiency testing, homogeneity testing, and stability studies. These processes ensure the RM’s accuracy, reliability, and consistency. RMs are essential in laboratories and industries, providing confidence in measurement results and supporting quality assurance, method validation, and standardization across various testing and production applications.

Education & Training

We provide specialized training in the testing of various products to meet the requirements of testing laboratories, infrastructure projects, and manufacturing industries. As guest faculty at the National CPWD Academy in Ghaziabad, we conduct expert lectures on material testing for CPWD and other infrastructure developers. Our training programs are tailored to equip Quality Control Engineers and Analysts with the practical skills needed for specific laboratory and industrial applications. These sessions focus on real-world testing practices aligned with relevant product standards, helping professionals enhance competence and job readiness.

Inspection Services

Inspection services involve evaluating products, processes, or facilities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Common in manufacturing, construction, and logistics, they include visual inspections, dimensional measurements, functional testing, and document verification. Experienced inspectors identify non-conformities, verify compliance, and suggest corrective actions. These services help enhance quality, safety, and regulatory adherence, supporting continuous improvement. Research & Development

CIMEC conducts R&D projects focused on industry-specific needs, such as developing calibration standards for X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometers (XRF) in the cement industry. Key projects include creating specialized reference standards, raw mix design studies, and utilizing industrial waste in construction. CIMEC also develops concrete mix designs using waste materials for extreme weather performance and optimizes bituminous concrete mix designs for improved durability. These initiatives support sustainable practices, innovation, and advancements in construction, material testing, and environmental responsibility.
